Our specialty is handling complex designs and turning them into composite parts made from pre-preg, from one off to limited production. What makes our company unique is our ability to not only process composite materials but to additionally deal with difficult process issues.

Although CSI started operations February 1997, we have many years of experience prior. Jeff Kent, founder of CSI initially formed a partnership with a leading spar builder in 1989 to introduce composite products and autoclave technology to the marine industry. Through Jeff's involvement they were able to advance to the leading position in this competitive field.

Composite Solutions is proud of its design and engineering capabilities. We have long term working relationships with many leading designers and engineers. Our engineering strength combined with our skilled workforce and quality controls guarantees superior products. We have engineered rigs, rudders, and custom products for family cruisers and mega yachts, PHRF and IMS racers, and America's Cup Class racers. We use the same careful and painstaking engineering for all projects.

In 2003, Jeff decided to build like before, spars and spar systems fully custom designed for each project.

The cruising market is out target and specialty. Today, Composite Solutions is steadily carving its niche into the composite marine market. Technical experience combined with production flexibility, CSI offers our clients opportunities to better utilize composite construction.

Composite Solutions is a well-equipped shop that includes three autoclaves to produce spars. The shop also has an oven for oversized parts, a complete machine shop, a CNC router/miller, winding machines. This equipment gives us the flexibility we need to produce the finest carbon composites available, and it enables us to handle both complex designs and difficult process issues while maintaining a flexible production schedule.
